Five Minutes With Liesbet & Katleen

This week, we were lucky enough to have a quick chat with twin sister Katleen & Liesbet from 'The Balance Club'.

Katleen and Liesbet are the founders of The Balance Club: your go-to wellness platform to energize your body and ease your mind through low impact Pilates inspired flows.

"We are twin sisters Katleen & Liesbet and have been obsessed with daily movement our entire lives. Growing up, we both were committed to competitive gymnastics. We combined our practice with classical ballet, modern dance and yoga, as we became teachers ourselves later in our twenties.

We have 4 kids each and with that, we are ambitious business owners. Feeling as if the business and overwhelm were taking over, we felt the urge to curate a more balanced lifestyle for ourselves. Our daily movement practice became our ritual of well-being, providing the tools to feel our best both physically and mentally. Now we are empowering others to purposefully immerse themselves in this world of movement, to make powerful transformations in their lives."

What gives you energy?

We both love to travel with family, brunches, coffee dates & dinners with friends, walks in nature, tennis, our Balance Club practice, ...

What does “sustainable sportswear” mean to you?

It means we can move freely and feel comfortable at the same time, without stressing over the fabrics not staying in place. It also means the fabric/material is durable and stays beautiful, no matter how many washes and wears. It means the fabrics are environmentally friendly & the items are locally produced.
